一、御間所は御座の間西御入側で、御中老をはじめ御用人、御側向頭取、御広式、御用人高野惣左衛門【挿入】隠居も出席したため【ここまで挿入】御医師、御近習番、御茶道花木栄が一列に打ち曲がって着座した。御小姓は御間内御違棚前西向きに着座し、手伝いをはじめ御坊主共は韃靼の間御入側で頂戴した。御間囲いは御入側御杉戸を外し、御学文所境の御襖を打ち曲がり四枚外し、韃靼の間境御杉戸を外した。韃靼の間御入側に御障子を入れ、焚火の間に喰い違い御屏風を立て、孔雀の間御入側に御障子を入れた。頂戴物の準備は孔雀の間通いで行った。御学文所では御儒者、御医師に詩作を仰せ付け、御坊主共に謡、小舞等を仰せ付けた。御始まりは六時半過ぎで済んだところ、四時半過ぎであった。
一、謙五郎様御付きの面々にも御月見のため殿様から頂戴物を仰せ付けられ、翌日中根新六が御礼に出向いた。
一、八月十九日五時揃いで、諸士息・隠居の面々へ若殿様御誕生御祝儀として御吸物・御酒を下された。御座の間に御着座し、本多路夕方が同御間に御着座、御家老息から御城代息まで鉄砲の間に御着座、高知息が同御間に御着座、荻野友山・明石右中が同御間に御着座、宇都宮勘解由をはじめ総隠居が大広間で、山川環次郎から長袴子供まで同御間、諸物頭子供から新御番格子共まで大御番所で、与力諸役人が入り掛け、指物の間で一統から諸職人まで御目見を仰せ付けられた。ただし右の席々、度毎に御小座敷へお入りになって申し上げてからお入りになった。右が終わって御座の間に御着座し、本多路夕方が同じく御着座、御家老息から御城代息まで韃靼の間に御着座、高知息が右で御盃頂戴の趣旨で御目見を仰せ付けられた。

1. The room arrangement had the western entrance side of the formal sitting room, where senior retainers, chamberlains, chief attendants, ceremonial officials, chamberlain Takano Sozaemon 【insertion】retired officials also attended【end insertion】, physicians, close attendant guards, and tea ceremony official Hanaki Sakae sat in a curved line. The pages sat facing west in front of the staggered shelves inside the room, while assistants and Buddhist monks received gifts on the entrance side of the Tartar room. The room enclosure had the entrance side cedar doors removed, four sliding doors at the study boundary opened in a curve, and the Tartar room boundary cedar doors removed. Sliding screens were placed on the entrance side of the Tartar room, offset folding screens were set up in the brazier room, and sliding screens were placed on the entrance side of the Peacock room.
