菓子御茶於御前被下之御近習番役之尤御前ニも被召上謙五郎様も被為入候

堂御覧相済夫ゟ直ニ岩山へ被為入御案内光祥寺役僧御先へ立〇外ニ山番壱人罷出候其次御近習番御先
立御茸狩被遊候此節御供連御側廻り不残御中老御用人御側向頭取御供頭御
医師高野惣左衛門も思召ニ而被召連御茶道小嶋知策相願罷出御徒目付奥坊
主御小人御茶弁当御傘 但一統袴着御徒目付等野服也御たはこ盆為

九月三日 初午のため元御座所稲荷に御拝のためお入りになった。元御座所御矢場口御門から内へ、御側向頭取が御先立を勤めた。大小帯のまま平服、御裏役は麻上下着用。

一、九月四日 中根孫右衛門病死。新右衛門の実兄で半減十日の忌引き込み。御聴きに入れ月番御用人御目付へ相達し、三日立って同月七日から忌御免。
一、八時前 御鉄炮御稽古をされた。但し九月になったため御玉は無し。御矢場において御素矯のみをされた。前砂無し。御角立で長谷川武右衛門父子が罷り出て御相手。平太郎も。
一、八時揃い 御打毬。酒井与三左衛門並びにその息子たち、御城代の息子で与三左衛門方の二男まで拝見を仰せ付けられ、御菓子御茶を御前でお下しになった。御近習番役も、もっとも御前にお召し上げになった。謙五郎様もお入りになった
ため進上された。右の御運びは与三左衛門方始め芝御蔵へお揃いになった段を申し上げ、御打毬揃いを仰せ出され、御馬見所へ与三左衛門方始めがお揃いになった段を申し上げてお入りになったこと。お入りになった節は御馬見所下でお待ち受け申し上げ、それから御馬見所で御目見御挨拶をされ、それから御召し替えで一番目をされた。この節も御馬見所上で拝見があった。二番目、御次の打毬の内で御菓子をお召し上がりになり、謙五郎様へも進上し、与三左衛門始めへも差し出し、御茶も差し出した。三番目をされて相済み、御召し替えで最初の通り御目見を仰せ付けられ、御礼を申し上げ、御帰殿の節にまた御馬見所下でお見送り申し上げた。謙五郎様には御馬見所で御暇乞いをされ、直に御跡から元御座所へ御帰りになった。但し先達て御家老拝見の節、与三左衛門が不快でお出にならなかったため、今日拝見を仰せ付けられたこと。
一、九月五日 五時御供揃い 大安寺御参詣 御拝始め開山堂御見物までは先の亥年の通り。開山堂御覧相済み、それから直に岩山へお入りになった。御案内は光祥寺役僧が御先へ立った。○外に山番一人が罷り出た。その次に御近習番が御先立で御茸狩りをされた。この節の御供連は御側廻り残らず、御中老御用人御側向頭取御供頭御医師高野惣左衛門も思召しでお召し連れになり、御茶道小嶋知策が相願って罷り出た。御徒目付奥坊主御小人御茶弁当御傘 但し一統袴着用。御徒目付等は野服なり。御たばこ盆をお持ちになるため《割書：但し重ねてあれば御火縄が然るべきこと》相済んで御下山掛けに隠居所へお立ち寄り御覧になった。

1. 4th day of 9th month - Nakane Magouemon died of illness. As Shin'emon's elder brother, he received ten days of mourning leave at half reduction. This was reported to the monthly duty chamberlain and inspector, and after three days, mourning leave ended from the 7th of the same month.
