一、九月十七日 六時に御供揃いで大長院へ御参詣、御帰殿は七時半、二寸五分の御拝が相済むまでは亥年の通り。右が相済み書院へ再び御着座、昆布を差し上げ、表御小姓役がすぐに引いた。ここで大長院が出座し御目見、御用人が披露したが御意はなく相済んだ。御召替え、ここで干菓子献上、御近習番が持ち出し御用人が披露、御程合いで御膳を仰せ付けられ相済んだ。御蒸菓子をお召し上がりになり、御供揃いでお立ちになった。御途中、これまでは安波賀、大長院共に御素衣であったが、当年からすべて御途中で御袴をお召しになった。但し大長院御目見の節、御側廻りは帯剣した。
【朱書挿入】奥の番から新右衛門へ申し越したので直に出勤、月番御用人佐野小太郎と申し談じ、四時半過ぎに手紙を認め御先番小兵衛まで申し越したこと
一、今朝五時頃から御中臈さとに催しがあり、七時半過ぎに安産で御男子様がご誕生された
右催しの趣旨を大奥から申し出たので、新右衛門は非番から出勤し、御出先の小兵衛へ手紙で申し遣わし、御帰道の大森辺りで相達し、すぐに御駕付の田辺五太夫方へ持参させ、御駕内へ入れてご覧になった。○右御誕生につき一統麻上下着用○御誕生様は御産湯を済まされ、大奥御座の間へお移りになり、しばらくあって御袴で御対顔にお入りになった○御蟇目は御稽古所で飯嶋四郎右衛門父子が相勤めた○御産穢中は表講釈その他御稽古事御素読共に御休み 但し昨年は講談は御聞きになったが、当年はすべて御休みとなった○御産穢中は御代拝事なしとのこと○御月代は行われても差し支えないこと

一、謙五郎様がお祝いのためお入りになり、御上下御締切中に御対顔があった。但し謙五郎様は当時度々大奥へお入りになるのはよくないので、御出生様も御泉水へお移りの上で御対顔があるのがよろしい旨、貞照院様の思召しで、その段を善四郎、新六へ申し聞かせた
一、柿一籠 貞照院様へ お饗応のため進上された【ここまで朱書き】
一、九月十八日 この節大奥が御手狭のため表御締切でお入りがあった○貞照院様は八時半に御供揃いでお入りになり、大奥で御出生様と御対顔があり、それから表御締切で御対顔があり、七時半に御帰館○御三度御膳は定式では御締切でお召し上がりになるが、この節大奥が御人少で差し支えるので、御七夜中は表御膳を仰せ出された
一、九月十九日 御出生様が今朝初めて御乳をお召し上がりになったところ、よくお召し上がりになった旨、袖野方が申し達し入御聴になった 明日出立 御座の間御目見 御手のしをお下しになった 岡部左膳方
