様ゟ御用達畑中平蔵謙五郎様ゟ松田善四郎御使ニ而御機嫌御伺有之
一邦之助様終ニ御養生不被為叶今朝巳ノ上刻御逝去被遊奉恐入候
一右ニ付謙五郎様為御見廻御上下ニ而被為入殿様御袴斗ニ而御対顔有之〇
御屋形一統今日斗上下着用〇来ル廿日迄鳴物高声御停止御出棺

一、邦之助様の御当病御平癒の御祈祷を御庭御宮で粕谷清次郎に仰せ付けられ、御用人が取り扱った
一、十一月十四日 邦之助様の御容体が昨夜から特に御不調で、八時過ぎに皆が集まった。一旦御治りになったが、暁七時過ぎに又々塞がれて暫く開かれたものの、六時頃から次第に御重篤になり、大変心配な御容体となられ恐れ入る。右につき貞照院様からは御用達畑中平蔵、謙五郎様からは松田善四郎を御使いとして御機嫌伺いがあった
一、邦之助様はついに御養生が叶わず、今朝巳の上刻に御逝去遊ばされ、恐れ入る
一、右につき謙五郎様が御見舞いのため御上下でお入りになり、殿様は御袴のみで御対顔があった。御屋形一統は今日のみ上下着用。来る二十日まで鳴物・高声御停止。御出棺が済み次第、普請御免。御家老中が御機嫌伺いで御前へ出られた。御右筆部屋へ御機嫌伺いに参った
一、殿様は十六日まで御尺を御遠慮、諸御稽古事は御初七日まで行わず、十六日の御三度御膳まで御精進され、御初七日前夜から夕御膳まで御精進のこと
一、邦之助様の御法号は柔輭院殿触誉蒙光超天大童子
一、十一月十五日 出仕相止め、式日につき当番は上下着用
一、柔輭院様御入棺前の御対顔のため御袴で両度お入りになり、謙五郎様もお入りになるよう仰せ出され、その旨申し上げて七時過ぎにお入りになった

1. 14th day of 11th month: Kuninosuke-sama's condition was particularly poor since last night, with everyone gathering after 8 o'clock. Though he temporarily recovered, after 7 o'clock at dawn he became blocked again, opened briefly, but from around 6 o'clock gradually worsened into a very critical condition, causing great concern. Regarding this, from Lady Teisho-in came chamberlain Hatanaka Heizo, and from Kengoro-sama came Matsuda Zenshiro as messengers to inquire about his condition
1. Kuninosuke-sama ultimately could not be saved and passed away this morning at the latter part of the hour of the Snake, which is deeply regrettable
1. Regarding this, Kengoro-sama visited in formal dress, and his lordship met him wearing only hakama. The entire residence wore formal dress only for today. Musical instruments and loud voices are prohibited until the 20th. Construction is permitted after the funeral procession is completed. The senior councilors appeared before his lordship to pay respects. [We] went to the secretaries' quarters to pay respects
1. His lordship refrained from lectures until the 16th, suspended all lessons until the first seven-day memorial, observed vegetarian diet until three meals on the 16th, and vegetarian diet from the evening before the first seven-day memorial until the evening meal

The route went from the Great Interior's audience chamber veranda, through North Fumei Gate, Ninomaru passage, Suisha Gate area, audience hall, moat-side passage, Geuma Gate, Iron Gate, and entered through Sakura Gate. At the funeral procession, Akita Unnosuke, Iida Sakuzaemon, Kobei, and all physicians went to see off from the audience chamber veranda. Due to the funeral procession, formal dress was worn from shift change until dawn. This morning all from both quarters were ordered to pay respects to the coffin
