現代語訳
一、今晩御年賀寿礼御祝儀の御三度の節、御吸物・御酒・御硯蓋等でお祝いされ、御前での頂戴はなく、詰合切において部々に頂戴物があった。詳細は御膳番の方へ記す。もっとも御用人始め御側向・大奥の分は例年の通り相廻す。奥台子向も同様。謙五郎様・貞照院様へは御月見の節の通り進上された。
一、今朝【表御礼が相済んでお入りになった処で】御小座敷において御用人・御側向頭取・御小姓が歳暮の御祝儀を申し上げ、御用人がお取り合いがあって相済み、御稽古納めを仰せ出された御運びとなった。
一、十二月二十九日 四時過ぎ、昨日松平主馬方が献上した鶴を御前で庖丁を仰せ付けられ、孔雀の間に御着座、御袴のみで二の間へ。御俎直しの竹嶋仙右衛門が麻上下帯剣で罷り出て相勤めた。

一、今晩大奥御年寄始め御泉水へお召しになったが、大奥御人数が差支えるにつき、御三度御膳を表で召し上がられた。
