現代語訳
悪いため、御座の間の御縁からお入りになった。これにつき御縁まで御往来とも御先立ちは御用人、御庭御拝の御先立ちはこれまでの通り御近習番、その次に御側向頭取、もっとも御枕槍が出る。御用人のお供があり、徒歩でお入りになった。お召し服は御熨斗目の御上下。
唐繻子 代金二両一分三朱
御裏 代金二両一匁 合計金四両一分二朱四匁七分五厘
右は貞照院様が唐繻子の御被布をお好みになるとのこと、津田四郎左衛門が申し聞かせ、その旨をお聞きになり、御歳暮として御代料で進上された。
一、暮れ時、例年の通り歳暮の御祝儀で御側向頭取末の番外、御小姓頭取前波他之助、御医師、御小姓頭取、御小姓、御近習番一同が罷り出て、御小座敷において申し上げた。夕七時から御夜詰まで麻上下を着用した。

英語訳
due to poor conditions, he entered from the veranda of the sitting room. The above was because Teisho-in-sama was fond of Chinese satin short coats, as reported by Tsuda Shirozaemon. This was heard and presented as a year-end gift in monetary equivalent.
1. At evening, as customary each year, for year-end felicitations, the junior chief attendants, page captain Maenami Tanosuke, physicians, page captains, pages, and close attendants all came forward and made their presentations in the small sitting room. From 7 PM until night duty, they wore hemp formal dress.

To Princess-sama: Cod roe, 10 bags, boxed
Same, 5 bags each to 4 people beginning with senior lady Kurahashi
Same, 3 bags each to 6 people from middle-ranking ladies to front attendants
Same, 2 bags each to Tagawa, Okano, Jusen, Fujita, Tamura
[Lower section] The portions for Kurahashi and others were packed in one box and sent around to Tagawa's quarters, with arrangements made for respective distributions. This was reported from Sodeno-kata.
