手長鮑を下され御小座敷へお入りになり、表揃いを仰せ出され御礼があった。大御番四組まで済み、御小休み、無役御留守番まで相済み御膳《ただし今日はここで御湯の下を召し上がった》総御礼が相済み御小座敷へお入りになりかけ、御座の間の御縁先へ御馬を牽き出し御手綱をお取りになり御乗初の御式が相済んだ。御小座敷で大学読初、御床の聖像を御拝し、高野総左衛門・花木栄が罷り出て相済み、御書初をされ八時半、二寸五分相済んだ。ただし総左衛門・栄両人は御読初につき御吸物・御酒を下された。御右筆部屋で取り計らった。己春は丹蔵一人ばかり罷り出た事。
一、己の春は三日である。三献の御蔭祝が今日御座の間において行われた《己春の御読初・御書初・御絵初の御吸物は暮れ時に表で御祝いをされた》
一、正月三日 六時揃い、無息御礼で御座の間へお移りになり、御家老の息子・御城代の息子・大福へ引き渡し御盃を頂戴し終えて、大広間・高知・寄合・番外・長袴の息子が相済み御小休み。

一、謙五郎様がお入りになり御小座敷で御対顔があった。御熨斗で御祝いをされ、直ちに御同道で大奥へお入りになった。
一、己の春は二日である。御座の間において三献御式があり、御熨斗目御上下でご着座、お給仕は御小姓が長袴を着て御酌、御膳番も同断。ただし日の内に御間がないにつき御三度後六時半過ぎに御祝いをされた。
【朱書き】
一、暮れ時、新右衛門がお人払いの御用で袖野へ、これまで大奥御式の節に御熨斗を御三方で御中臈が差し上げていたけれども、以来は御錠口で差し上げるよう仰せ付けられた段を申し聞くべき旨を仰せ付けられ申し聞いた事。
一、正月四日 今日から御側向は平服
