【巳未】御三度御膳前に頂戴の品物が相揃った際に、御側向頭取から申し上げて御袴をお召しになり御稽古所へお入りになってご覧になり相済み、御膳表でお召し上がりになり揃いを仰せ出されて相揃った際に、また御側向頭取が申し上げてお移りになった事。
一、七時半揃い 御福引があり六時半にお始まり【巳未にもこの通り】御座の間【同様】で御素衣にて御用人、御側向頭取、御供頭〇一人、御右筆受込〇一人、平一人、御医師〇一人、御茶道一人、御小姓、御近習番〇表御小姓両人、何れも当番が切ってお前でくじ引きの頂戴物を持参し御礼を申し上げ、御小道具手伝い、御召領手伝い、奥御坊主、御右筆部屋向、不寝役、御時計役まで鉄炮の間で御次に頂戴した。御用人出席【己春は御用人ということは無く、御膳番一人、奥の番一人の出席とある】奥の番出席、その余御台所向御料理方を始め残りのくじを頂戴した。五時に相済み。ただし大奥向貞照院様御附女中御次まで頂戴のくじは奥番から御錠口へ相回す《ただし御附御側向頭取謙五郎内御広式御用人等は罷り出ずにくじのみ頂戴いたす〇己春御儒者三人例年の通り思召しで頂戴を仰せ付けられ清田丹蔵が罷り出たにつき御前にて頂戴を仰せ付けられた〇未春御儒者の頂戴は仰せ付けられたが名代にて済んだ》

一、十五日 九時半過ぎに貞照院様がお入りになり切六ツ時過ぎにご帰館、御酒御吸物等をお断りにつき左の通り進上した。ただしお帰りの節《御小重入御吸物肴さくめき同火取ふし 御酒一陶》貞照院様から御持ちとして進上した。御蕎麦切を御饗応として進上し謙五郎様にもお入りになり御同座でお召し上がりになった。交御肴 中鯛一、ほう鯛二、海老 貞照院様へ進上した。交御肴 召し上がり 中鯛一。以下御側向御石当番へ下された。大甘鯛二、小鯛五、鮑二、海老、煎餅一重

一、今日から二十日まで例年の御祈祷があったが服穢改めは無く当番が相勤めた。
右月番御用人雨森伝左衛門の指図があった。
一、正月十八日夜五時過ぎ 評定所脇御普請役所から出火し評定所が焼失した。これにつき貞照院様、謙五郎様から御使を進上し、謙五郎様江も御使、御近習番近藤猶次郎、小宮山周蔵を遣わした。御家老中を始め一統御機嫌伺いがあり、御側向新右衛門を始め両部屋、御医師一同御機嫌伺い、非番からも罷り出た。
【十八日】
一、雄之進が長々病気につき相願い産物役所拝借で出て養生したとのこと、昨日引替したことを御右筆部屋へ御達にて相願った。

1. 7:30 assembly: Lucky draw held, beginning at 6:30 [same in Snake-Goat year] in the sitting room [likewise] wearing plain robes with chamberlain, chief attendant, escort head ○ 1 person, clerk ○ 1 person, regular 1 person, court physician ○ 1 person, tea ceremony master 1 person, pages, close attendants ○ formal pages both, all on duty drawing lots for gifts before His Lordship, bringing gifts and offering thanks, small equipment assistants, costume assistants, inner priests, clerk chambers, night watch, timekeeper up to the gun room received in turn. However upon return <<small jubako with soup and sakemeki side dish, fire-dried fish, one ceramic of sake>> presented as gifts from Lady Teisho-in. Buckwheat noodles offered as hospitality, Kengoro also entered and dined together. Assorted delicacies: 1 medium sea bream, 2 butterfish, shrimp presented to Lady Teisho-in. Assorted delicacies consumed: 1 medium sea bream. The following given to side attendant stone duty: 2 large sweet bream, 5 small bream, 2 abalone, shrimp, 1 stack of rice crackers.

1. 16th day of 1st month: Request for Koheiji's second son Kumanosuke as heir, this morning Shinemon reported from night duty and brought to the council hall [Due to council beginning, many officials were at their posts, so stationed at the deputy office]
1. From today until the 20th, annual prayers were held but without pollution purification review, with regular duty maintained.

1. 18th day of 1st month, after 5 o'clock at night: Fire broke out from the construction office beside the council hall, burning down the council hall. Regarding this, Lady Teisho-in and Kengoro sent messengers, also sent messengers to Kengoro, dispatching close attendants Kondo Naojiro and Komiyama Shuzo.
