外様組付を仰せ付けられ、杉田五郎兵衛組にて御城御番を相勤めた。
一、天明元年丑年九月、頭の杉田五郎兵衛が病死につき、跡の御役は山崎左助組に移ることとなった。
一、同三年卯年二月、家督御知行百五十石を、御相違なく下し置かれた。
一、同年四月、高橋藤八の二男留次郎を婿養子にしたい旨の願いが許された。
一、同六年午年二月、御城御番十年を怠りなく相勤めた段を仰せ出された。
一、同八年申年三月、若年寄附を仰せ付けられた。
一、寛政元年酉年閏六月、若年寄附の儀について、三番組御家老附と改められる旨を仰せ出された。
一、同五年丑年九月、追鳥狩に出向いた。
一、同六年寅年四月、去る秋の追鳥狩の節、足並み・列伍の次第がよく揃い、兼ねてより内稽古等に出精していた故のことと思し召される旨、相組一同に御称美を成し下された。

He was appointed to the Tozama-gumi unit and served castle guard duty in Sugita Gorobee's group.
1. In the 9th month of Tenmei 1st year, year of the ox (1781), due to the death by illness of group leader Sugita Gorobee, the successor position was transferred to Yamazaki Sasuke's group.
1. In the 2nd month of the same 3rd year, year of the rabbit (1783), he was granted the family succession stipend of 150 koku without change.
1. In the 4th month of the same year, his petition to adopt Tomejirou, the second son of Takahashi Touhachi, as son-in-law and heir was approved.
1. In the 2nd month of the same 6th year, year of the horse (1786), it was proclaimed that he had served ten years of castle guard duty without negligence.
