現代語訳
土津様が御養育くださる旨の御意により、大左衛門の妻も御供仕り候。すなわち息子の平作と申す者、歳四つに罷り成った時、一人扶持を下され、御小姓に成され、土津様にお仕えしたところ、十二歳の時に相果て申し候。武右衛門の親である常七歳、並びに弟藤兵衛二歳に罷り成るまで御城内に罷り在り、その後御座敷を汚し申すこと恐れ多く存じ奉るにつき、御用捨にて拝領の屋敷へ罷り出で候事。
一、承応三年午年四月、大左衛門は諸役を御免成され、その上御知行百石を下され、会津へ御下り成される間、休息仕る様江戸にて仰せ聞かされ、同月罷り下り候。同年五月病死いたし候息子武右衛門は善兵衛の養子に罷り成り候につき、二男藤兵衛が跡式相続いたし、追って苗字を中川と相改め候。その子新右衛門に至り、不調法の義これ有り、切腹を仰せ付けられ断絶仕り候。総じて実家の由来は相

Due to Dotsusama's intention to provide upbringing, Tazaemon's wife also served as attendant. That is, their son called Heisaku, when he reached four years of age, was given a stipend for one person and made a page, serving Dotsusama, but died at the age of twelve. Takemon's father Tsune, aged seven, and his younger brother Tōbei, aged two, remained in the castle until then, but afterward, considering it presumptuous to defile the lord's quarters, they moved out to a residence granted through [the lord's] gracious dispensation.
1. In Jōō 3, year of the horse, 4th month, Tazaemon was relieved of various duties and furthermore granted a fief of 100 koku. As [the lord] was going down to Aizu, he was told in Edo to rest, and in the same month he went down [to Aizu]. His son Takemon, who died of illness in the 5th month of the same year, became Zenbei's adopted son, so the second son Tōbei succeeded to the family headship and later changed the surname to Nakagawa.
