現代語訳
始めて諸事に心を付け精を出して相勤め、教諭の筋も行き及んだことにより、御褒美として銀子二枚、綿二把を下し置かれた事。
一、同七年卯年十二月、芝御屋敷御普請につき、郷村からの出金の義を宜しく取り計らい、かつ新堰御普請の多分の人足出方を取り計らい勤労したことにより、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれた事。
一、同八年辰年三月、地下取り計らいの義を細々と心を尽くし数年出精して相勤め、功労もあったことにより、御近習一の寄合席に成し下された事。
一、同十年午年六月、数十年精を出して相勤めたことにより、仲ヶ間の願いの通り、息子丈助の御序の節の御目見を仰せ付けられる旨を仰せ出された事。
一、同年十月、願いの通り息子丈之助の御番代を仰せ付けられた事。
一、文化三年寅年三月十三日、七十一歳にて病死。法名は書了院実相日
英語訳
For the first time attending to all matters with care and diligent service, and extending his influence to educational guidance, he was granted two silver pieces and two bundles of cotton as a reward.
- In the 7th year (1795), 12th month of the Rabbit, regarding the construction work at the Shiba residence, he properly managed the financial contributions from rural villages and arranged for the large workforce needed for the new weir construction project. For this diligent work, he was granted two bundles of cotton as a reward.
- In the 8th year (1796), 3rd month of the Dragon, having devoted himself meticulously to managing commoner affairs for several years with distinguished service and achievements, he was elevated to the rank of first-class attendant in the council.
- In the 10th year (1798), 6th month of the Horse, having served diligently for several decades, it was announced that his son Jōsuke would be granted an audience at an appropriate occasion, as requested by the intermediaries.
- In the 10th month of the same year, as requested, his son Jōnosuke was appointed as his deputy in guard duties.
- On the 13th day of the 3rd month of Bunka 3 (1806), year of the Tiger, he died of illness at the age of 71. His posthumous Buddhist name was Shoryo-in Jissō-nichi.
