一、同年十月、仲ヶ間の願いの通り、御番代外様組付を仰せ付けられ、梶原平馬組へ入り、御城御番を相勤めた事
一、同月、武郎八と改名したい旨を願い出て許可された事
一、同十一年未年九月、追鳥狩に出向いた
但し、ならし馬揃の節と共に六度出向き、内二度獲物を得て拝領した事
一、同年十一月、当追鳥狩の節、足並み調子一隊として連携し、進退手配等がよく調い、かねてより内稽古にも出精していた義であると思し召しの旨、相組一同が御称美を成された
但し、この後毎度御称美を成し下された事
一、文化三年寅年五月、亡父の御擬作の内から二石を減らされ、十三石三人扶持を下し置かれ、召し出された事
一、同年二月、去る酉年より武学寮に勤務

Was granted an audience with the lord
- In the 10th month of the same year, as requested by the intermediaries, he was appointed to the external guard unit and entered Kajiwara Heima's group, serving as castle guard
- In the same month, his request to change his name to Burōhachi was granted
- In the 9th month of the 11th year, year of the Sheep, he participated in the hunting expedition
Note: Including the horse parade training sessions, he participated six times total, catching prey twice and receiving rewards
- In the 11th month of the same year, during the hunting expedition, his unit's coordination, formation, advance and retreat maneuvers, and other arrangements were well-executed, and it was recognized that he had been diligent in his private training; his entire group received commendation
Note: He continued to receive commendations regularly thereafter
- In the 5th month of Bunka 3 (1806), year of the Tiger, two koku were deducted from his deceased father's stipend, and he was granted 13 koku and provisions for 3 people and summoned to service
- In the 2nd month of the same year, he had been serving at the military academy since the previous year of the Rooster
