現代語訳
の会日が設けられて以来、去る丑年まで五ヶ年間無欠席で精を出して学業に励んだ由、奇特な義につき、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれた事
一、同五年辰年正月、蝦夷地御固の御用を仰せ付けられ、大書院において御目見を仰せ付けられ、小書院において御流を頂戴し、利尻島へ赴いた事
一、同年八月、帰陣したにつき、旅服のまま大書院において御目見を仰せ付けられた事
一、同年十二月、蝦夷地御固の御用のため赴いた所、海陸往来をはじめ、かの地において数日勤労したところ、この度の御用が滞りなく済み、残らず帰陣したにつき、御城において御料理を下し置かれた事
一、同六年巳年二月、去々年卯年まで御城御番を怠ることなく相勤めた段を仰せ出された事

Since the meeting days were established until the previous year of the Ox, he attended without absence for five years and devoted himself diligently to his studies. Due to this commendable conduct, he was granted one bundle of cotton as a reward.
- In the 1st month of the 5th year, year of the Dragon, he was appointed to guard duty in Ezo (Hokkaido), granted an audience in the great reception hall, received instruction in the lord's martial style in the small reception hall, and departed for Rishiri Island.
- In the 8th month of the same year, upon his return from the campaign, he was granted an audience in the great reception hall while still in travel attire.
- In the 12th month of the same year, having gone to Ezo for guard duty, he worked for several days there including overseeing sea and land transportation. Since this official duty was completed without delay and all personnel returned from the campaign, he was granted a meal at the castle.
- In the 2nd month of the 6th year, year of the Snake, it was announced that he had served castle guard duty without negligence until the year of the Rabbit two years prior.
