一 同八年（未年）二月、廻米方に転任されたため、
白川勤番を仰せ付けられ出向し、精一杯
尽力して早期押上げの取り計らいや手始めの
件について滞りなく勤務して帰参した件
一 同十年（酉年）十一月、廻米方の取り計らい
右の通り転任されたので、仕事の癖や仕
来を改め、勘定期月を詰めて、今後の取り
締まり方について細々と心を配り、差引や片付け
方を精一杯取り計らい功績もあったため、格別
の理由により廻米役人加勤荷頭兼務に

格上げされ、御役料五石一人扶持をこれまで
通り下賜された件
一 同十一年（子年）四月、越後国方面が騒々しく
なったとの知らせがあり、御人数が派遣されることになったため、賄方並びに
諸才判として廻米方の者が派遣される
ことになったので心懸けるよう仰せ付けられ、同二十三日、御人
数に加わって派遣されることになったため、七つ時過ぎに出発し、御人数
一同で津川まで夜通し向かい、そこから五十
嶋並びに石間村辺りに滞在した際、色々

- In the 2nd month of the same 8th year (Year of the Sheep), he was transferred to the rice transport department (kaimai-kata), and was ordered to serve guard duty at Shirakawa. He went there and exerted himself fully, handling the early advancement procedures and initial arrangements without delay before returning.
- In the 11th month of the same 10th year (Year of the Rooster), regarding the rice transport arrangements, since he was transferred as mentioned above, he reformed his work habits and practices, shortened the accounting periods, paid careful attention to future supervisory matters in detail, and worked diligently on balance adjustments and settlements. Due to his achievements, for special reasons he was appointed to the combined position of additional rice transport official and transport supervisor.

Although this was a heavy responsibility, he was elevated to the rank of independent audience (dokurei) and continued to receive his stipend of 5 koku and provisions for one person as before.
- In the 4th month of the same 11th year (Year of the Rat), there were reports of unrest in the Echigo region, and troops were to be dispatched. Personnel from the rice transport department were to be sent as provisioning officers and general administrators, so he was ordered to be prepared. On the 23rd day of the same month, he was assigned to join the troops, departing after the hour of the Horse (around 2 PM). The entire force traveled through the night to Tsugawa, and from there stayed in the areas around Gojūshima and Ishima villages, where various [matters occurred].
