　　　群がり狂い咲き、紫
　　　咲きの無地も咲く

　　　輪、按ずるにつつじ・
　　　さつきの中に黄
　　　色なる花は他に
　　　なし。然らば『本草綱
　　　目』に毒ありと載る羊
　　　躑躅はこれなるべし。
　　　時珍曰く「枝少なく繁り、一
　　　枝に数萼あり」と。誠にこの

　　　花は一枝に集まり
　　　咲いて蓮華のごとく
　　　である。愚（私）が駿州富士
　　　山へ詣でて帰るさに
　　　裾野を見れば、
　　　この花多くありて
　　　盛りなりし。名を
　　　案内人に問い侍れば、
　　　「黄蓮華」と答えり。
　　　よくも言い表
　　　わしたり。時珍の所
　　　説の通り山谷に群れ生え、
　　　高きもの四、五尺、一、二尺と
