御不用之時節者私江御下ケ被下候段
厚御理解被成下無相違御不用之
筋者下ケ渡可申段之御書下ケ被

御不用の時節には私へお返し下さるという段について、厚く御理解いただき、相違なく御不用の筋にはお返し申し上げるという旨の御書付をいただけるよう御沙汰がございましたので、お受けいたし一応御譲渡の願書を差し出しましたが、御聞き済みにならず、御書付も今以って下げ置かれておりません。この件について六兵衛が承知しているかどうか、何の相談もなく、そのような取り計らいをした覚えはない旨申し聞かせましたが、これまでも何事も打ち捨て置き、いずれお返しいただけるなどということで嘆願の心を起こしたのでしょうか。品々跡形もない自分勝手な根拠のない言い分を申し立て、都合よく嘆願いたしますので、御評議中でございましょうか、これまで延引となっております。
善助が申し立てる条々は、一々自分勝手な都合ばかりで、元来の次第とは残らず相違いたしております。この六兵衛は生来偽りばかりを心がけ、この件に限らず御役儀等を勤めながら何事もこの調子で仕上げ、巧みさをもってこれまで過ごしてきたため、ついには恐れ入る外聞にもなるような成り行きとなり、説明して出奔いたし、その後倅の善助がこの心底を継ぎ、品々謀略めいたことを申し立てております。
