乳房炎

乳腺の炎衝の中に瘙痒、發赤、疼痛性腫脹を呈する場合には即時に特異繃
帯を使用せるに、極めて屡々化膿することなく吸収を促進す。膿の形成ある
場合には、切開の後濾液で洗滌し且つ濾液を浸せる「ガーゼ」を插入すれば速
に瘢痕を形成せしむ。
観察I,―L……(Franoçise,), 18日前発生せる乳房の「アプセス」のために1
月5日 Saint Germain 病院に入院す。局所に極めて烈しき疼痛あり。体温39°2
cm の切開により、多量の膿汁を排泄す ; この中に連鎖状球菌を発見す。
「アプセス」の空洞には「ワクチン」濾液に浸せる「ガーゼ」を確り填める。殆ど直
ぐに、疼痛及び発熱の消失せるを認む。
20日で完全に治癒す。
観察II,―乳房の巨大なる「アプセス」, 車輪の輻状に四個の切開をなし、管を
以て大なる排膿をなす必要あり。腺は炎衝硬結の所在部位となり、硬化深在性に
して、遂には化膿せんとして居る。
排膿管を通じて、「ブイヨン＝ワクチン」を充せる蒸気噴霧を行ひ、この同液に
浸せる「ガーゼ」を出来るだけ深部に挿入す。
感染が殆ど全乳房に及ぶ時には常に長期間を要するものが、著しく速に経過し :
20日以内に、乳房は正常の外観に復し、その柔軟性は5―6週の器官を待つまで
となる。
感冒性化膿耳炎

耳の「アプセス」が1月13日に穿孔す。耳浴の処方に昇汞化「グリセリン」次いで
硼酸「アルコール」とす。この洗滌は毎日行はれ2月5日に及ぶも著効なし ; その
感染は慢性になる恐れがあつた。
2月5日耳浴に数滴の「ブイヨン＝ワクチン」を加へたものを用ひ ; 同じ液に浸

睡し、手術することなく恢復す。
鬚瘡

M……氏は一年に二回規則的に鬚瘡の罹つた。普通に、「ポマード」及び種々の
洗滌液を使用するに不拘、感染は皮膚の広範囲を浸し数週間継続す。患者が罷り
出た時は、病竈は前日あらはれ2―3平方糎の表面を占む。最も著明なる化膿性
病竈を火で焼灼し、「ピンセット」で脱毛をなす ; その上に「ブイヨン＝ワクチン」
の繃帯を施す。その晩は極めてよく過ぎた ; 瘙痒は数時間で癒ゆ。翌朝、患者は、
繃帯を取りつつ、”それが治癒せる”ことを認めて非常に吃驚した。明に、脱毛
せる皮膚はきれいになり、全く周囲の健康なる皮膚に比較し得。此の患者につき
Dr N, を認めしめた皮膚接種の優秀なることは、それまで使用せられたるすべて
の消毒剤に勝れることを示す。

観察I,―V,R……, 生後6か月、1925年10月13日、Marfan 教授の病室に入院
す。彼女は二度の栄養不良の状態、肋骨の珠数状を有せる軽度の佝僂病、頸部
腋窩及び鼠蹊部の矮小多発性腺病を呈す。

complained of pain. Since there was concern about involvement of the tendon sheath, we applied bandaging with vaccine. This was changed the next day, but edema, redness and pain decreased, and pus was induced subcutaneously. Complete healing was obtained in 9 days.

In cases of mammary gland inflammation presenting itching, redness, and painful swelling, immediate use of specific bandaging very often promotes absorption without suppuration. When pus formation occurs, after incision, washing with filtrate and insertion of gauze soaked in filtrate rapidly forms scars.
Observation I L... (Françoise), admitted to Saint Germain Hospital on January 5 for breast abscess that developed 18 days earlier. Extremely severe local pain. Temperature 39°. With a 2cm incision, large amount of purulent discharge was drained; streptococci were found in this.
The abscess cavity was firmly packed with gauze soaked in vaccine filtrate. Almost immediately, disappearance of pain and fever was recognized.
Complete healing in 20 days.
Observation II Massive breast abscess, four incisions made radially like wheel spokes, requiring major drainage with tubes. The gland became the site of inflammatory induration, deep and hardened, finally about to suppurate.
Through drainage tubes, performed steam nebulization filled with bouillon-vaccine, inserting gauze soaked in this same solution as deeply as possible.
What normally requires a long period when infection involves almost the entire breast progressed remarkably rapidly: within 20 days, the breast returned to normal appearance, with its flexibility requiring a wait of 5-6 weeks.

Middle ear abscess, tympanic membrane perforated and mastoiditis about to begin, patient was about to visit a specialist to receive bone drilling surgery.
After application of bouillon-vaccine, patient soon improved; slept soundly the first night and recovered without surgery.
Mustache Sycosis

Mr. M... regularly contracted mustache sycosis twice a year. Ordinarily, despite using pomades and various washing solutions, infection would soak extensive areas of skin and continue for several weeks. When the patient came, lesions had appeared the previous day occupying a 2-3 square centimeter surface area. Cauterized the most prominent suppurative lesions with fire and performed hair removal with tweezers; applied bouillon-vaccine bandaging over this. That evening passed extremely well; itching healed within a few hours. The next morning, while removing the bandage, the patient was very surprised to recognize "that it had healed." Clearly, the depilated skin had become clean and could be completely compared to surrounding healthy skin. The excellence of skin inoculation that we had Dr. N recognize in this patient shows it surpasses all disinfectants used previously.
