One: In the intercalary fifth month of the same year, as the marriage arrangements (*engumi*) for Shōjuin-sama had been approved and granted, he was ordered to serve as attendant (*o-kyūji*) when the guests were present. Note: After this, he was ordered to perform attendant duties on numerous occasions. One: In the second month of the same second year (Tenmei 2, 1782, the year of the Tiger), in connection with the aforementioned marriage, when guests were present, as Lady Genshō'in had sent a ceremonial tiered food box (*o-jū*), he was ordered to appear before the lord and present it. He was also granted a clothing allowance (*chakufuku hokin*). One: In the second month of the same fourth year (Tenmei 4, 1784, the year of the Dragon), (continued on next page) </translation_ja>
