産卵・孵化させることは古い伝えであるというが、これも心遣いが必要なことなので、本文の通り孵化した後には劣らず、すべて蚕室へ出入りする男女は身を清浄に保つことが第一である。さて蚕種四枚以上も置いて一同に孵化させては、末に至って手に負えなくなるものなり。その節は種二枚だけでも四月中旬十日も前に給餌し、残りは六七日
