置扁しそれ共尓庭ご尓眠可々里たらば
火を置事を／必（かなら春）やむべし前々の起眠より
は此時尓至りてふなごの遠眠とて一両日も
眠おくる事有るもの也此次の眠庭起尓なり
半分も起たらば桑留め尓及は須桑を六七

置くべし。それでも庭ごとに眠りが遅れたならば、火を置くことを必ず止めるべし。前々の起眠よりはこの時に至りて「ふなご」の遠眠とて一両日も眠りを遅らせることがあるものなり。この次の眠りが庭起きなり。半分も起きたならば桑留めに及ばず、桑を六七歩四方に切り、むらなく薄くかけるべし。《この時は一向に桑と共にはせぬ者なり》起き揃ったならば桑を大きめに切り、少し厚くかけるべし。
右を桑付けと覚えよ。それより三日目に乾した藁束を心がけて置き、一枚を一枚半に取り分けるべし。暑気の節ならば桑付け二日目に取り分けてよろし。もしまた暑さの甚だしき時は葉桑とて切らぬ桑をまばらにかければ、それへ蚕が這い付くものゆえ、それを別の稾束へ移せば跡も薄く、熟気にも
