文化中の一件復【後＝朱記】絶て来らされとも終に我北陸
の患ならん
一文化元年長崎へ来りし我羅斯人の紀行書
四冊あり此頃《割書：は享保か｜》手に入りぬ《割書：此書我羅斯語なるを｜和蘭に訳せしなり》
《割書：内一冊は長崎在留中の日記にて都て 本朝の事情を書き｜載て頗詳々なり既に訳者に投けて起稿せしむ訳成は奉んとす》
其書中 本邦蝦夷及近傍諸国の地図ありて
其時往返せし舟路を記せり長崎ゟ帰路は壱岐

文化年間の一件が再び起こることはないとしても、結局は我が北陸地方の憂患となるであろう。
一、文化元年に長崎へ来たロシア人の紀行書が四冊ある。この頃（享保か）手に入れた。（この書はロシア語であったものをオランダ語に訳したものである）
（そのうち一冊は長崎滞在中の日記で、すべて日本の事情を書き記しており、頗る詳細である。既に翻訳者に渡して起稿させている。翻訳が完成すれば献上するつもりである）
その書中に日本の蝦夷地及び近隣諸国の地図があって、その時往復した船路を記している。長崎からの帰路は壱岐

Even if the incident of the Bunka era does not occur again, it will ultimately become a source of trouble for our Hokuriku region.
Item: There are four volumes of travel records by Russians who came to Nagasaki in the first year of Bunka. I recently obtained them (perhaps during Kyōhō?). (These books were originally in Russian and were translated into Dutch)
(One volume is a diary from their stay in Nagasaki, which records Japanese affairs in great detail. I have already given it to a translator to begin drafting. When the translation is complete, I intend to present it [to the authorities])
In those books there are maps of Japan's Ezo region and neighboring countries, recording the sea routes they traveled back and forth at that time. The return route from Nagasaki [passed through] Iki
