相場四斗三升二合を置いて、米を相場
で割れば、十八貫七百五十匁と知れる

when asking how much silver the rice amounts to:
Answer: 18 kan 750 monme of silver
Method: Place 810 koku of rice on the right, and place
the market price of 4 to 3 shō 2 gō on the left, then divide
the rice by the market price to find 18 kan 750 monme.
○ Dividing rice by the market price gives silver;
Multiplying silver by the market price gives rice.
