【上巻廿二丁裏】
□銀五百六拾匁五分有 拾匁￣ニ付四斗三升二合
がへのさうばの時右の銀に米なにほとそといふ時に
米弐拾四石五斗壱升六合と云ふ
法に銀を右におきひたりに相（さう）場（ば）四斗三升二合を
をきて右の銀にかくれは廿四石五斗壱升六合としる
┃銀拾三貫四百八拾五匁二分五り有時に米壱石に付
弐拾三匁七分五りにして右の銀に米何程ととふ時
米五百六拾七石八斗也
法に右の銀拾三貫四百八拾五匁二分五りをさうば
廿三匁七分五りにてわれは米としるへし

□銀五百六十匁五分あり、十匁につき四斗三升二合
替えの相場の時、この銀で米はいくらかという時、
米二十四石五斗一升六合という
解法：銀を右に置き、左に相場四斗三升二合を
置いて、右の銀に掛ければ、二十四石五斗一升六合とわかる
┃銀十三貫四百八十五匁二分五厘あるとき、米一石につき
二十三匁七分五厘として、この銀で米はいくらかと問う時、
米五百六十七石八斗なり
解法：右の銀十三貫四百八十五匁二分五厘を相場
二十三匁七分五厘で割れば米とわかるべし

○ 銀と銀の相場で割れば米になる
米に掛ければ銀とわかるべし
┃米五百六十七石八斗あり、一石につき二十三匁七分五厘ずつ

4 to 3 shō 2 gō per 10 monme of silver, when asking how much rice this silver buys:
Answer: 24 koku 5 to 1 shō 6 gō of rice
Method: Place the silver on the right, and place the market price of 4 to 3 shō 2 gō on the left,
then multiply the silver on the right to find 24 koku 5 to 1 shō 6 gō.
┃ When there are 13 kan 485 monme 2 bu 5 rin of silver, at a rate of
23 monme 7 bu 5 rin per 1 koku of rice, when asking how much rice this silver buys:
Answer: 567 koku 8 to of rice
Method: Divide the silver of 13 kan 485 monme 2 bu 5 rin by the market price
of 23 monme 7 bu 5 rin to find the amount of rice.
