【中巻四丁裏】
┃米かいにいつかたへ成共下時￣ニ銀拾壱貫弐百目あり
又人のことつかりがね六貫八百目くだす時に
二口合拾八貫目あり
○米のさうば 拾石￣ニ付 弐百四十二匁也
○うんぢんは 十石￣ニ付 八匁ツゝなり
○米かい申候間のつかひ 九拾目入也
右之銀拾八貫目にてうんちんつかひはらひて
米なにほとつくぞといふ時に

【中巻四丁裏】
米を買いにどこかへ下る時に、銀十一貫二百目を持ち、
また人から預かった金六貫八百目を下す時に、
二口合わせて十八貫目ある。
○米の相場 十石につき 二百四十二匁なり
○運賃は 十石につき 八匁ずつなり
○米買いに行く間の遣い（諸経費） 九十目かかる
右の銀十八貫目にて運賃・諸経費を払って
米はどれほど手に入るかという問いに対し
[米七百十六石四斗手に入る]
計算方法として、米の相場二百四十二匁に運賃八匁を加えると

二百五十匁となる。これを左に置き、右に十八貫目を置いて、
この内から諸経費九十目を引いた残り十七貫九百十匁がある。
これを左の二百五十匁で割ると七百十六石四斗と
分かる。
○また人から預かった金六貫八百目の分には
米をどれほど渡せばよいかという問いに対し
[二百七十石六斗四升という]
計算方法として、七百十六石四斗に六貫八百目を掛けると
四八七一五二となる。これを銀の総高十八貫目で割ると
二百七十石六斗四升と分かる。

and also brings down 6 kan 800 me entrusted by another person,
making a combined total of 18 kan me.

○ Travel expenses for the rice-buying trip: 90 me
The question is: after paying transportation fees and travel expenses
from the 18 kan me of silver, how much rice can be purchased?
[Answer: 716 koku 4 to of rice can be obtained]
Method: Add the transportation fee of 8 monme to the rice price of 242 monme per 10 koku,

which gives 250 monme. Place this on the left, and place 18 kan me on the right.
Subtract the travel expenses of 90 me from this, leaving 17 kan 910 monme.
Divide this by the 250 monme on the left to find 716 koku 4 to.
○ Furthermore, for the portion of the 6 kan 800 me entrusted by another person,
the question is: how much rice should be returned to them?

Method: Multiply 716 koku 4 to by 6 kan 800 me to get 4,871.52.
Divide this by the total silver of 18 kan me to find
