【右丁】
※〇五畝廿七歩七分五り
【右の円】
【右に】まわり四十七間二尺六寸
法に、／円（まる）きさしわたしうたれぬ時に、まわりを
うつときに、四拾七間二尺六寸あり。二尺六寸
ばかりを六五にてわれは、四拾七間四となる#1。
これに／円（まる）きめぐりの法三一六にてわる時に、
まるきさしわたし十五けんとしるへし#2。
此十五間を左右におき、かくれは弐百廿五坪に成。
まるき法七九をかくれは、百七拾七坪七分五りと

なるなり#3。是を田の法三にてわるときに、
五／畝（せ）廿七歩七分五りとしるへし。

【右辺】長丗二間 【左】十六間
法に、なかさ丗二間に／横（よこ）十六間をかくれは、
五百十二坪となるなり。これに又まるき法
七九をかくれは#4四百四坪四分八りになる。これを
田の法三にてわるときに、一／反（たん）三／畝（せ）十四歩
四分八りとしるへし。

計算法に、円の直径が分からない時に、まわりを
測ると、四十七間二尺六寸ある。二尺六寸
ほどを六五で割れば、四十七間四となる。
これに円の周りの法三一六で割る時に、
円の直径十五間と知るべし。
この十五間を左右に置き、かければ二百二十五坪になる。
円の法七九をかければ、百七十七坪七分五厘と

なるのである。これを田の法三で割る時に、
五畝二十七歩七分五厘と知るべし。

【右辺】長さ三十二間 【左】十六間
計算法に、長さ三十二間に横十六間をかければ、
五百十二坪となるのである。これにまた円の法
七九をかければ四百四坪四分八厘になる。これを
田の法三で割る時に、一反三畝十四歩
四分八厘と知るべし。

you should know the circular diameter is 15 ken.
Placing this 15 ken on both sides and multiplying gives 225 tsubo.
Multiplying by the circular method of 79 gives 177 tsubo 7 bu 5 ri and

By the calculation method, multiplying length 32 ken by width 16 ken
gives 512 tsubo. Multiplying this again by the circular method
of 79 gives 404 tsubo 4 bu 8 ri. When
dividing this by the field method of 3, you should know it as 1 tan 3 se 14 bu
4 bu 8 ri.
