法に、／長（なかさ）五尺に／横（よこ）二尺をかくれは、
十坪と成。是に高二尺かくれは、廿坪と成。これに
又、しんますの法六四八二七にて右の弐拾坪を
われは、三石八升五合壱勺としるへし#2。
又廿坪に十六かくれは、三石二斗としるべし。
同廿坪を六二五にてわりてもをなじ事なり#3。

是にふかさ六寸かくれは、百丗八坪二分四りと成#5。
これをいまますの法六四八二七て右之坪を
われは、二升一合三勺としるへし。

計算法として、長さ五尺に横二尺を掛ければ、
十坪となる。これに高さ二尺を掛ければ、二十坪となる。これに
また、新しい枡の係数六四八二七で右の二十坪を
割れば、三石八升五合一勺と知るべし。
また二十坪に十六を掛ければ、三石二斗と知るべし。
同じく二十坪を六二五で割っても同じことである。

計算法として、口六寸と下三寸六分を合わせて九寸六分になる。
これを二つに割る時に、四寸八分になる。これを
縦横に掛ければ、一寸の坪で二百三十坪四分となる。
これに深さ六寸を掛ければ、千三百八十坪二分四厘となる。
これを新しい枡の係数六四八二七で右の坪数を
割れば、二升一合三勺と知るべし。

to get 10 tsubo. Multiply this by height 2 shaku to get 20 tsubo.
Then divide the above 20 tsubo by the new measure coefficient 64827
to know the result as 3 koku 8 sho 5 go 1 shaku.
Also, multiply 20 tsubo by 16 to know the result as 3 koku 2 to.
Similarly, dividing 20 tsubo by 625 gives the same result.
