一西丸江御年礼ニ御登 城之節
大御所様江御箱肴一種
大納言様江右同断
右之外定式御上物者未タ御幼年故御上物無之
但 於義丸様御祝儀事御座候節御拝領物
御座候得者御礼被 仰上御上物御座候
一其外之方々様江茂未御付届無之於義丸様
御祝儀事ニ而方々様ゟ被進物御座候得者
此方様ゟも御返物被進候分
月光院様 竹姫様

宗矩様ゟ 於義丸様江当日御祝儀被 仰進之
但 去ル十五日者御使を以御祝儀被 仰進候得共今日ゟ

一、西丸へ御年礼にて御登城の節、
大御所様へ 御箱肴一種
大納言様へ 右同断
右の外、定式の御上物については、於義丸様はいまだ御幼年のため御上物はない。
但し、於義丸様に御祝儀の事がある節、御拝領物がある場合は、御礼を申し上げ、御上物がある。
一、その外の方々様へも、いまだ御付届けはないが、於義丸様の御祝儀の事にて、方々様より被進物がある場合は、こちら様よりも御返物を進上された分：

宗矩様より、於義丸様へ当日御祝儀を申し進められた。
但し、去る十五日には御使いをもって御祝儀を申し進められたが、今日より（以下、記載なし・続く）

Item: On the occasion of New Year's greetings (nen-rei) upon attending the West Keep (Nishinomaru),
To the Ōgosho-sama: one box of assorted fish (hako-zakana)
To the Dainagon-sama: same as above
Apart from the above, as regards the regular customary gifts (jōshiki o-agimono), there are none, as O-Yoshimaru-sama is still of a young age.
Note: However, on occasions when O-Yoshimaru-sama receives a celebratory gift (shūgi), if there is a gift received (go-hairyō-mono), formal thanks are presented along with a return gift (o-agimono).
Item: As for other various persons of rank, no routine gifts have yet been presented; however, on occasions when O-Yoshimaru-sama receives celebratory gifts from various persons, return gifts (o-kaeshi-mono) were presented from this side to the following:
Gekkōin-sama Take-hime-sama
The Two Persons of Tayasu-sama Mito Saisho-sama
Mito Go-misu-naka Chiyohime-sama
Kyoto Ichijō Taikō-sama Same, Kampaku-sama

Sōnori-sama extended congratulatory greetings (shūgi) to O-Yoshimaru-sama on that day.
