[It was communicated that] the matter of O-Yoshimaru-sama's transfer to the residence of Hyōbu-no-taifu was to be carried out within the current year. In connection with this, it was conveyed that Hyōbu-no-taifu's intention was that, at the time of said transfer, the escort procession (tomo-mawari) should be sent from the Hitotsubashi [household] in the same manner as had been customary up to now. We humbly inquire as to how this matter should be handled. Respectfully submitted.       Eleventh month      Itami Hyōgo-no-kami     Attached note (o-tsuke-fuda):      Regarding the escort procession at the time of O-Yoshimaru's move, it should be arranged that the Hyōbu-no-taifu household send a reception escort in accordance with [their] family standing (ie-kaku). Item: Twenty-third day of the same month, at the Hitotsubashi mansion:  As a hakama-gi (ceremonial first wearing of hakama) celebration was to be held for O-Yoshimaru-sama, through a female messenger (onna-tsukai),  [gifts of] one box each of dried sea bream were presented to the Kubō-sama, the Ōgosho-sama, and the Dainagon-sama.  On that occasion,  to O-Yoshimaru-sama — through the senior court ladies (rōjū-chū) of the O-Honmaru, bearing a formal letter (hōmon) —  from the Kubō-sama: one box of dried sea bream;  from the Ōgosho-sama: five rolls (makimono), one box of dried sea bream, and one cask of sake (o-taru);
