於義丸様が近々御引移りになるにつき、御餞別として、徳川刑部卿（宗尹）様より、
於義丸様へ 御刀（長光、代金二十枚）一腰、御脇差（■■、代金十五枚）一腰、御掛物（三幅対）、
御簾中様より 御文台・御硯箱・御香箱・御屏風一隻、保姫様より御見台（黒塗御紋蒔絵）、仙之助様（刑部卿様の御次男）より御印籠（五つ）一箱を進上された。
一、同日
於義丸様が近々御引移りが相済んだ後のこととして、
宗矩様・於義丸様より御肴を御献上なされる節の御使者御謁の儀につき、
宗矩様より、御用掛御老中・堀田相模守（正亮）殿へ、御留守居・大谷一右衛門（良次）をもって、去る十七日に御伺書を差し出されたところ、右御献上の節に御老中が謁見される段を、今日、用人をもって申し聞かされた。
一、同日
於義丸様御付きの、上原久蔵・岩本喜内（正芳）・橋本佐市・中嶋庄蔵（正平）・飯塚五兵衛（方眼）・並河清次郎、六人へ、役名を「御近習番外与」と申すべき旨、かつまた左の通り勤方の儀を御中老より申し渡された。
各自当番の節は申し談じ、

Munenori-sama made the rounds of courtesy visits to the senior councillors (rōjū).

On the occasion of O-Yoshimaru-sama's imminent relocation, as a farewell gift (senbetsu), from Tokugawa Gyōbukyō (Muneyori)-sama:
To O-Yoshimaru-sama: one sword (o-katana; Nagamitsu, valued at twenty gold pieces), one short sword (o-wakizashi; [maker's name unclear], valued at fifteen gold pieces), and one hanging scroll set (o-kakemono; a triptych of three panels).
From the O-Renjū-sama [the wife/consort of Gyōbukyō-sama]: a writing stand (o-bundai), an inkstone box (o-suzuribako), an incense box (o-kōbako), and one folding screen panel (o-byōbu).
From Yasu-hime-sama: a book/reading stand (o-mitsudai; lacquered in black with family crest in maki-e decoration).
From Sennnosuke-sama (the second son of Gyōbukyō-sama): one box of medicine cases/ornamental containers (o-inrō; a set of five) were presented.

Regarding the matter of the audience granted to the messenger (o-shisha o-etsu) at the time when Munenori-sama and O-Yoshimaru-sama would present offerings of foodstuffs (o-sakana), to take place after O-Yoshimaru-sama's relocation had been completed:
Munenori-sama had submitted a formal inquiry (o-ukagai-sho) on the seventeenth of last month, via the residential caretaker (o-rusui) Ōtani Ichiemon (Yoshitsugu), addressed to the supervising senior councillor (go-yōgakari rōjū) Hotta Sagami-no-Kami (Masasuke)-dono. In reply, it was communicated today through a household official (yōnin) that the senior councillor would grant an audience at the time of the said presentation.

To the six retainers attached to O-Yoshimaru-sama's service — Uehara Kuzō, Iwamoto Kinai (Masayoshi), Hashimoto Saichi, Nakashima Shōzō (Masahira), Iizuka Gohei (Hōgan), and Namikawa Seijirō — it was announced by the middle-ranking elder (o-chūrō) that their official role title (yakuname) shall be designated "O-Kinshū-ban-gai-yo" [attendant guard, outer group], and furthermore, the following instructions regarding their duties were conveyed:
During each person's duty shift, they shall consult with one another,
