但 此方ニ而御部屋付之面々江茂去ル十四日御書付を以

於義丸様御道具一橋御屋形ゟ追々為持被遣之一橋御広敷
御用達蒲生伝次郎 其外差添来候面々江御酒吸物并
被下物有之
但 右御道具今廿一日ゟ翌廿二日迄両日之間為持被遣
一番立御道具者表御門ゟ入二番立御道具ハ西御門ゟ入

十左衛門・下山嘉左衛門・津田藤左衛門と申し談じの上、相勤めらるべし。
但し、こちらにて御部屋付きの面々へも、去る十四日に御書付をもって勤方を仰せ付けられた。
一、十二月二十一日
於義丸様の御道具を、一橋御屋形より追々持たせ遣わされた。一橋御広敷御用達・蒲生伝次郎、その外差し添えて来た面々へ、御酒・吸物ならびに被下物（下賜品）があった。
但し、右の御道具は今二十一日より翌二十二日まで、両日の間に持たせ遣わされ、
一番立の御道具は表御門より入り、二番立の御道具は西御門より入った。
一、同日
於義丸様御付き（一橋より御付き）の御年寄・崎尾へ、御充行銀三十枚・二人扶持を下される旨を、御家老・酒井外記（知喬）が申し渡した。その外の御付き女中へも、それぞれ御切米を下された。
但し、於義丸様御付きの女中は、一橋より今日、過半が引き移った。
一、同月二十二日、御屋形の御家老部屋にて
於義丸様御付きの面々へ、今度御養子に入られるにつき、万事御表（おもて）同様、大切に御奉公致すよう、また御幼年のことゆえ、花事（軽率なこと・浮ついたこと）は致さず、下賤なることは（御耳に）達せぬよう（申し渡された）。
英語訳
[The six attendants] shall coordinate with Jūzaemon, Shimoyama Kazaemon, and Tsuda Tōzaemon, and carry out their duties accordingly.
Note: The members of the chamber-attendant staff (o-heya-tsuki) on our side were likewise issued written instructions (o-kakitsuke) regarding their duties on the fourteenth of last month.
Item: The 21st day of the 12th month.
The furnishings and personal effects (o-dōgu) of O-Yoshimaru-sama were conveyed one after another from the Hitotsubashi residence (o-yashiki). The Hitotsubashi inner household supply official (o-hiroshiki go-yōtashi), Gamō Denjirō, and the other accompanying persons were provided with sake, soup (suimono), and gifts (kudashimono).
Note: The said furnishings were conveyed over the course of two days, from today the 21st through the following day the 22nd.
The first consignment of furnishings entered through the main front gate (omote o-mon); the second consignment entered through the western gate (nishi o-mon).
Item: Same day.
Regarding the senior lady attendant (o-toshiyori) Sakio, who is attached to O-Yoshimaru-sama's service (from the Hitotsubashi household), the household elder (o-karō) Sakai Geki (Tomotaka) conveyed the directive that she is to receive an allocation of thirty silver pieces (o-ateyuki gin) and a stipend for two persons (futari-fuchi). The other lady attendants in O-Yoshimaru-sama's service were also each granted their respective stipends in rice (o-kirimai).
Note: More than half of the lady attendants attached to O-Yoshimaru-sama arrived today from the Hitotsubashi household.
Item: The 22nd day of the same month, at the household elder's chamber (o-karō-beya) of the residence.
To the members of O-Yoshimaru-sama's attendant staff, regarding her adoption into the household on this occasion: they were instructed to serve dutifully in all matters, just as they would in the main official household (o-omote); and, given that she is of tender years, they were to avoid frivolous or imprudent conduct (hanaji), and to refrain from allowing matters of a base or unseemly nature to reach her attention.
