右の方々がお入りになる際、お出迎えのため、表御門の外へ御留守居が罷り出て（お供の御用人がご披露申し上げる）、それより御先立ちを仕り、御部屋御門前へ御奉行ならびに智高院様お付きの前波忠兵衛勝（幸勝）、御目付・御側物頭・御徒頭・御部屋付・御手廻の阿部与五右衛門が罷り出て（お供の御用人がご披露申し上げる）、同じく御玄関白洲へ御家老・御中老・御用人・御側同見習が罷り出て（お供の御用人がご披露申し上げる）。
於義丸様の御部屋・御居間にてご着座、御長鮑にてお祝いを直ちに行う。

At the time of the above party's arrival, the Castle Keeper comes out beyond the main front gate to receive them (the accompanying Chamberlain makes formal introductions). From there, proceeding ahead, at the gate before the private chambers, the Magistrate (o-bugyō), and Maenami Chūbei Katsu (Yukikatsu), attendant to Lady Chikōin, along with the Inspector (o-metsuke), Side-troop commander (o-soba-monotogashira), Foot-soldier captain (o-kachigashira), Chamber attendant (o-heya-tsuki), and Abe Yogozaemon of the personal guard (o-temahari) come out (the accompanying Chamberlain makes formal introductions). Likewise, at the main entrance graveled area (genkan-shirasu), the Household Elder, Middle Elder, Chamberlain, and Side-attendant trainees come out (the accompanying Chamberlain makes formal introductions).
In the private chambers and sitting room of Lord Ogimaru, he takes his seat, and a celebration with dried abalone (o-naga-awabi) is held immediately.
Entering the rest room (o-kyūsoku-jo), the ceremonial zōni soup and clear soup (o-suimono) for the handover are served (handled by the ladies-in-waiting).
His long formal hakama (o-nagabakama) is changed, and he proceeds to the front sitting room.

The long sword (o-tachi) brought by Lord Ogimaru is formally presented by the Household Elder (wearing long formal hakama) (two additional items and one load had been presented in advance).
Following this, a celebration with dried abalone and the formal three-round saké ceremony (shiki-sankon) is held.
Saké cup and accompanying food (o-sakana) are presented to Lord Ogimaru, and at that time a sword and short sword (o-katana, o-wakizashi) are presented (carried out by the Advance Guard, Lord Iwamoto Naizen-no-shō, and presented to Lord Ogimaru). The reception is completed.
Lord Ogimaru presents saké cup and accompanying food in return.
