一種を御拝領。
右大将様より、上使として御側衆・戸田土佐守殿をもって、一種一荷を御拝領。
但し、大納言様より御拝領物はなし。
一、十一月二十三日、一橋御屋形より、小五郎様が山王御宮参り（御乗添・御抱守は一橋御年寄・崎野）、その後、御本丸へお立ち寄りになり、
公方様へ、御対顔として、巻物十・行器一荷・二種一荷を献上。
その節、公方様より、御刀（倫光、代金二十枚）一腰・銀二十枚・綿二十把ならびに一種一荷を御拝領。
お帰りの節、行器二荷・添重一組を御拝領。
一、十二月二十三日、一橋御屋形にて、小五郎様の御箸初めの御祝儀が執り行われるにつき、女使をもって、
公方様へ、鮮鯛一折を献上。その節、
小五郎様へ、公方様より、老女中・奉文をもって、鮮鯛一折を御拝領。

From the Udaishō-sama [the Heir Apparent / Lord of the Right], conveyed through the special envoy o-sobashū [Personal Attendant] Toda Tosa-no-kami: one variety of provisions in one hamper received as a gift.
Note: No gifts were received from the Dainagon-sama on this occasion.
1. On the 23rd day of the 11th month, departing from the Hitotsubashi residence, Lord Kōgorō visited the Sannō Shrine for his first shrine visit (o-miyamairi) — his riding escort and nurse-bearer being the Hitotsubashi senior attendant (o-toshiyori) Sakino — and thereafter stopped at the Hon-maru [the Shōgun's main keep].
To the Kubō-sama [the Shōgun], on the occasion of this formal audience (o-taigan), the following were presented: ten rolls of silk, one hamper of lacquered food containers (gyōki), and one hamper of two varieties of provisions.
On this occasion, the following were received as gifts from the Kubō-sama: one sword (Tomimitsu, valued at 20 gold pieces), 20 pieces of silver, 20 bundles of cotton wadding, and one hamper of one variety of provisions.
Upon the return, two hampers of lacquered food containers (gyōki) and one set of stacked lacquer boxes (soejū) were received as gifts.
1. On the 23rd day of the 12th month, on the occasion of the o-hashisome [the ceremonial first use of chopsticks] celebration for Lord Kōgorō held at the Hitotsubashi residence, through a female messenger (onna-tsukai), the following was presented:
To the Kubō-sama: one box of fresh sea bream (tai). On this occasion,
To Lord Kōgorō, from the Kubō-sama, conveyed through the senior lady-in-waiting (rōjochū) Hōmon: one box of fresh sea bream was received as a gift.
