ただし、初めてお入りになったので、ここに記録する。

一、十二月二十六日、御用番・本多伯耆守（正珍）殿、および大納言様付御老中・秋元但馬守（涼朝）殿より呼び出しがあり、宗矩様より御留守居が差し出された。

於義丸様より、年始の御祝儀として御献上物の件につき、先に差し出しておいた御伺書に対し、御付札をもって御指図があった。

Item: On the 26th day of the 12th month, a summons was received from the Duty Senior Councilor (Goyōban), Honda Hōki-no-kami (Masayoshi), and from the Senior Councilor attached to the Lord Dainagon, Akimoto Tajima-no-kami (Ryōchō). In response, Lord Munenori dispatched the resident ambassador (rusui).

Regarding the matter of New Year's congratulatory offerings to be presented on behalf of Lord Ogimaru, instructions were conveyed via a written note (tsukefuda) affixed to the inquiry document (ukagai-sho) that had previously been submitted.
