現代語訳
昨日、宗矩様より御留守居・津田九右衛門（盛恕）をもって御伺書を差し出され候ところ、今日、御付札をもって御差図これあり。
御伺書
於義丸儀は、
両御丸大奥へ登城候様に、先達って仰せ出だされ候間、
御本丸へ登城の当日、
公方様へ表向きよりの献上物を差し上げ、
西丸へ登城の砌（みぎり）、
大御所様・大納言様へ表向きよりの献上の品を差し上げ申すべき
儀にて御座候や。

大御所様・大納言様への献上物も、明十五日、
御本丸表向きへ差し上げられるべく候。

一、於義丸、表向きよりの献上物は、拙者献上の通り、表中の口より
差し上げ申すべきと存じ候。しかしながら、於義丸供の家来をもって差し上げ
候様に仰せ出だされ候えば、若しくは御広敷の表向きと申す儀

Yesterday, through the offices of the residential caretaker (o-rusuī) Tsuda Kurōemon (Morinaga), acting on behalf of Lord Munenori, an inquiry document (o-ukagai-sho) was submitted. Today, a response has been issued by way of an attached note (o-tsuke-fuda).
Inquiry Document:
Regarding Lady Ogimaru,
as it has been previously decreed that she is to visit the Ōoku of both keeps (ryō-o-maru),
on the day of her visit to the Main Keep (Gohonmaru),
she is to present formal tribute offerings to the Lord Kubō (Shogun) through the official front,
and at the time of her visit to the West Keep (Nishi-no-maru),
is she to present formal tribute offerings to the Lord Ōgosho (Retired Shogun) and the Lord Dainagon through the official front?
Attached Note (Response):
The tribute offerings to the Lord Ōgosho and the Lord Dainagon are also to be
presented at the official front of the Main Keep on the 15th of tomorrow.

One: As for the formal tribute offerings from Lady Ogimaru through the official front, I had assumed they would be presented through the inner gate of the official front (omote naka no kuchi), in the same manner as my own tribute offerings. However, if it has been decreed that they be presented by Lady Ogimaru's accompanying retainers, then the question arises as to whether this refers to the official front of the Ohirojiki (the inner administrative quarters)...
