あぶれて気（き）の發（はつ）するに堕（したが）ひ是（これ）よりして山（やま）焼（やけ）る事（こと）ありまた

現代語訳
号する。ここで人皇百五代後土御門天皇の御代、明応七年小の八月六日に大地震が起こり、湖と潮が一つになって入海となった。これを遠州今切と呼ぶ。
そもそも地には水があり、また火がある。陰陽が乱れて気が発するに従い、これによって山が焼けることがあり、また温泉が出るという。まことに空天、日月、星地もまた年を経るといっても老いの色を現さず、一天世界を見下ろされて善人には良い恵みを施し、悪人には罰災いを下されるという。実に恐れ慎むべきである。ただ自分を慎み、行動を正し、非常の雷落、火難、水災を逃れることが肝要であろうと、このように言う。

○太白星に当たる日は万事に用いてよろしい。渡まし、見世開き、婚礼、元服、祝事その外相談、掛け合いごと、また神仏に願い事、学問武芸ともに初めて成就する日である。すべて旅立ち遠行等によろしき日である。
○辰星に当たる日にはよしあし大小ともに大きくなる日である。よって神仏を祈りまつってよし。遠行あるいは旅立ち相談ごと、船に乗るなど吉凶ともに慎み心得てよし。物事大きくなる日、油断すべからざる日である。
●熒惑日に当たる日は万事慎むべし。物事油断すべからず。沐浴川へ船出あるいは火を扱っても怠るべからず。相談争いごと結う事など、なお遠行旅立ち等心得べし。その外何事によらず悪日である。御用心御用心。

Looking down upon the entire world, good fortune is bestowed upon good people, while punishment and calamity are brought down upon evil people. This is truly something to fear and be cautious about. It is essential to restrain oneself, correct one's conduct, and avoid extraordinary lightning strikes, fire disasters, and water calamities.

○ Days corresponding to Taihaku-sei (Venus) are good for all purposes: moving, shop openings, weddings, coming-of-age ceremonies, celebrations, consultations, negotiations, prayers to gods and Buddha, and beginning scholarly and martial arts pursuits. These are good days for departures and long journeys.
○ Days corresponding to Shinsei (Mercury) are days when both good and bad, large and small matters become magnified. Therefore, it is good to pray to gods and Buddha. For long journeys, departures, consultations, and boarding ships, one should be cautious and mindful of both good and bad fortune. These are days when matters become significant - days requiring vigilance.
● Days corresponding to Keiwaku-sei (Mars) require caution in all matters. One must not be careless about anything. Whether bathing, launching boats on rivers, or handling fire, one must not be negligent. Consultations, disputes, binding matters, long journeys, and departures all require attention. These are inauspicious days for any purpose. Be very careful.
