現代語訳

春宮曲　王昌齢

昨夜風開露井桃　未央前殿月輪高
平陽歌舞新承寵　簾外春寒賜錦袍

昨夜暖かな風によって庭の桃の花も開き、皇帝も花見に出御されて未央殿の前で遊楽をなされ、月が高く明るいのは夜更けを表している。この春寒くなったゆえ、新参の女中にお気に入られて、簾の外にほかの宮女には構わずして、あらためて新参の者を御寵愛なされる。詳しくは箋註や掌故にある。

Spring Palace Song by Wang Changling

Last night the wind opened the peach blossoms by the dew-covered well; before Weiyang Palace, the moon hung high
The Pingyang dancers newly receive favor; outside the curtain in the spring cold, brocade robes are bestowed

Last night, with the warm wind, the peach blossoms in the garden also opened, and the emperor went out to view the flowers. Entertainment was held before Weiyang Palace, and the moon being high and bright indicates it was late at night. Because of this spring cold, the newly-arrived court lady has gained favor, and outside the curtains, without regard for the other palace women, the emperor newly bestows his affection on the newcomer.
