現代語訳

宇文六を送る　常建

花映垂楊漢水清
微風林裏一枝軽
即今江北還如此
愁殺江南離別情

春のことなので花も盛りに咲き、柳も青々として、漢水に映り移って清らかに見える。この時分、林を吹く風も激しくなく、そよそよと吹くので、花も散らず面白い景色である。あなたの行かれる江南の方は、春も早いので、到着する頃には春も過ぎるであろう。江南の寂しい風景を見られたならば、別れの情を感じ、江北の風景を思いやって憂えられることであろう。

Seeing Off Yuwen Liu - by Chang Jian

Flowers reflect on drooping willows, the Han River is clear
A gentle breeze in the grove, one branch light
Right now in Jiangbei it's still like this
But it would break the heart - Jiangnan's parting feelings

Since it is spring, the flowers are in full bloom, the willows are lush and green, reflecting in the Han River and appearing pure. At this time, the wind blowing through the grove is not fierce, but gentle and rustling, so the flowers do not scatter - it is a beautiful scene. The Jiangnan region where you are going has an earlier spring, so by the time you arrive, spring will likely be over. When you see the lonely scenery of Jiangnan, you will feel the emotion of parting and be saddened as you think fondly of the landscape of Jiangbei.
