From here, throughout the land of Ōshū: eighteen ri to the harbor of Noshiro [Nōshiro]; thirty-five ri to the harbor of Fukaura in Tsugaru; eighteen ri to the harbor of Ajigasawa; eight ri to the harbor of Tossa [Jūsan]; seven ri to the harbor of Kotomari. Now, from Kotomari to the east, there are harbors called Sotonoham, Imabetsu, Kominato, Kawachi in Nanbu, Tanabu, Sai, Ōhata, Shikaru, and others. From Kotomari to the harbor of Shikaru is recorded as one hundred and thirty ri. To Matsumae is a total of three hundred and seventy ri; to the harbor of Shikaru in Ōshū from here [Mikuni] extends to five hundred ri. By sea, with a favorable wind, one arrives in approximately ten days. They depart from this harbor [Mikuni] in early the third month and return in the fifth month, it is said. They also travel by way of the Chūgoku region to the port of Osaka, the great harbor of Ise, the harbor at Ebisuzaki in Tsushima, and the port of Nagasaki in Hizen. The Oda Clan
The ancestor of Oda Kazusa-no-suke Nobunaga, lord of Owari, was Oda Tatewaki Saemon Tsunekatsu, who was the son of Tsuneyoshi, chief priest of the Oda Shrine in Echizen.
