一当年作間石切名前
書上仕候外ニ壱人茂無御座候
猶又村中入念可取調
仕候処少茂相違無御座候
此上ニ茂不吟味成儀有之而
後日被及御聞候ハゝ其御元
より早速御注進可被成候
其段御調之上何様之
御咎筋被 仰付候共
少茂御恨申上間敷候為
後日役人連印仍而如件

差し上げ申す一札の事
一、当年作業に従事する石切の名前を書き上げいたしましたが、これ以外に一人もございません。なお村中で念入りに調査いたしましたところ、少しも相違ございません。この上でも不注意な事があって、後日お聞きに及ばれた場合は、そのお元より早速ご注進くださいますよう、その段をお調べの上、どのようなお咎めをお申し付けになられても、少しもお恨み申し上げることはございません。後日のため役人連名で印を押し、よってこの通りです。

Item: Regarding the names of stonecutters working this year, we have recorded them above and there are no others beyond these. Furthermore, we have carefully investigated throughout the village and found no discrepancies whatsoever. Should there be any careless matters that come to your attention in the future, please immediately report from your office. After investigating such matters, whatever punishment you may impose, we shall harbor no resentment whatsoever. For future reference, the officials have affixed their joint seals, thus as stated herein.
