万里の彼方まで家を離れ、軍鼓の軍事に従事し
金陵の駅路を通り、楚雲の西（潤州）の方へと向かわれる
長江の春景色も行く人を引き留めようとはせず
青々とした草色が馬の蹄を見送るばかり
《解説：今あなたは家を離れて万里の彼方へ、軍鼓の軍事を任務として、金陵の宿場を通り、楚国の西、潤州の方へ行かれる。○私が引き留める前から、川辺の春景色がもしかして引き留めてくれるかと思えば、引き留めない様子で、結局この人が馬に乗り草を分けて行かれれば、後から青々と生い茂る草が見送るように思われる。さてさて、仕方のないことだという詩意である》【挿絵】

Sending Off Judge Li to the Runzhou Military Camp
Leaving home for ten thousand li, he takes up the duty of military drums
Taking the post road of Jinling, heading west of Chu clouds to Runzhou
The spring along the river refuses to detain the traveling guest
Only the verdant grass color sends off the horse's hooves
[Commentary: Now you leave home for the distant lands ten thousand li away, taking up military duties with drums and fifes, passing through the post stations of Jinling, heading toward Runzhou in the western part of Chu state. ○Even before I could try to detain you, I wondered if perhaps the spring scenery by the river might detain you, but it seems it will not. In the end, as this person rides his horse and parts the grass to go away, the luxuriant green grass behind seems to be seeing him off.
