朗州より京に至りて戯れに花を見る諸君に贈る
紫陌の都には紅塵が舞い立ち、顔を払って歩く人々が行き交う
花見から帰ってこないと言わない人はいない
玄都観の境内では桃の木千本がことごとく咲き誇っている
これらはすべて劉郎が去った後に植えられたものである
《注釈：紫陌の都の町も今は奢侈に走る者が現れて、町中を毎日大勢が往来するので、塵を蹴立てて顔と顔をすり払って通る。都中の人々が遊楽にかかりきっているので、誰に会っても花を見て帰ったと言わない者はない。老子を祀った玄都観のあたりも花が咲いて、桃もすべて千本ほどあろう。これは自分（劉郎）が都にいた間はなかったが、他国にいる間に植えられたのであろう。昔とは変わり果てたことよ》【挿絵】

《Commentary: The streets of the purple capital have now become filled with those who indulge in luxury, and every day great crowds pass through the town, kicking up dust so that people brush face against face as they pass. Since all the people in the capital are devoted to pleasure-seeking, everyone you meet speaks of returning from flower viewing. Around Xuandu Temple where Laozi is enshrined, flowers are blooming, and there must be about a thousand peach trees in total. These were not there when I (Liu Lang) was in the capital, but must have been planted while I was away in foreign lands. How completely different things have become from the past!》【Illustration】
