《割書：春の事なれば雁なども高く太液池よりとび去て北へかへる春の最中なれば苑の花樹の枝にもあらたに花｜が咲つれて地へつくほどにみたれて見事なことじや此春光のいたる所賞するにたへおもしろい風景じやか宮中の春｜色ゆへ天子のみ御覧なされて人間外のものは見ることもならぬ又の説に天子をはしめて人間すべてしらず｜此花をたれひとり見るものもないこれは乱後の風景にもつうずるなり》【挿絵】
現代語訳
漢苑行 張仲素
帰雁高く飛ぶ太液池より、新花低く咲く上林の枝に
年々の光のいたる所皆賞するに堪えたり、春色を人間すべて未だ知らず
《注釈：春のことなので雁なども高く太液池より飛び去って北へ帰る。春の最中なので苑の花樹の枝にも新たに花が咲いて地につくほどに乱れて見事なことである。この春光の至る所、賞するに堪える面白い風景であるが、宮中の春色ゆえ天子のみ御覧になされて、人間以外の者は見ることもできない。また別の説には、天子をはじめて人間すべて知らず、この花を誰一人見る者もない。これは乱後の風景にも通じるものである》

The radiant seasons are worthy of admiration wherever they reach, yet all of humanity remains unaware of spring's beauty
《Commentary: Since it is spring, the geese fly high away from Taiye Pool, returning north. Being the height of spring, new flowers have bloomed on the branches of the garden trees, drooping so low they nearly touch the ground - a magnificent sight. Everywhere this spring light reaches presents scenery worthy of admiration, but since this is the spring beauty of the imperial palace, only the emperor can view it, and no one else among humanity can see it. Another interpretation is that from the emperor down, all of humanity remains unaware, and no one sees these flowers. This also relates to the scenery after times of turmoil》
