郡中即事 羊士諤
紅衣落ち尽くして暗香残り、葉上の秋光白露寒し
越女情を含んで已に限り無し、長袖を蘭干に倚らしむること莫かれ

《注釈：資州に奉行した時の作である。紅い蓮の花びらなどもすっかり落ち尽くし、花はみな散ってしまったけれど、まだどことなく香りが残っている。秋のことなので木の葉の露をひたすような物すごい寒さである。この花の散った様子を見せたならば、秋の情緒を含んでいろいろな愁いを思い出すほどに、必ず長袖の美人たちを欄干に寄りかからせて見せるな》

《Commentary: This was composed when serving as magistrate in Zizhou. The red lotus petals have all fallen completely, and though the flowers have all scattered, somehow their fragrance still lingers. Since it is autumn, the dew on the tree leaves creates an eerily cold atmosphere. If you were to show them these fallen flowers, they would be filled with autumn sentiment and recall various sorrows, so you must not let the long-sleeved beauties lean against the railings to view this scene》
