《割書：趙国（ちやうこく）は妓女（ぎじよ）の多（おほ）い処じやが其／妓（ぎ）女どもか春の風景（ふうけい）に乗（じやう）じて画楼（ぐはらう）に上つてなぐさんで｜歌（うた）をはり上てうたふ其／声（こへ）が城中（じやうちう）にみち〳〵てそのあたりのものみな感（かん）をなし愁（うれい）をおこし｜春（はる）ながら心中が秋のごとくなつた歌を聞（きい）てさへかなしいに無端（よしなく）さらに関山月（くはんさんげつ）の曲（きよく）をうたひ出され｜たれば此あたりへ征伐（せいばつ）に来たらぬものさへ悲（かなしみ）を生（しやう）じ涙（なみだ）をながしゐるに征人（せいじん）はいよ〳〵かなしみを催（もよほす）で｜ あらふ》

成徳楽 王表
趙女春に乗じて画楼に上る
一声歌発して満城の秋
端無くさらに関山の曲を唱う
是れ征人ならずとも亦た涙流る
《割書：趙国は妓女の多い所であるが、その妓女どもが春の風景に乗じて画楼に上って慰みとして歌を張り上げて歌う。その声が城中に満ち満ちて、その辺りの者皆が感慨を抱き愁いを起こし、春でありながら心中が秋のようになった。歌を聞いてさえ悲しいのに、理由もなくさらに関山月の曲を歌い出されれば、この辺りへ征伐に来ていない者さえ悲しみを生じ涙を流しているのに、征人はいよいよ悲しみを催すであろう》

Zhao women, riding on spring, ascend the painted tower
One voice begins to sing, filling the entire city with autumn melancholy
Without reason they sing again the tune of "Guanshan"
Even those who are not soldiers on campaign shed tears as well
Commentary: The state of Zhao is a place with many courtesans, and these courtesans, taking advantage of the spring scenery, ascend to the painted tower and sing loudly for entertainment. Their voices fill the entire city, causing all those in the vicinity to feel deep emotion and sorrow, making their hearts feel like autumn even though it is spring. Just hearing their songs is already sad enough, but when they begin singing the tune of "Guanshan Moon" for no particular reason, even those who have not come to this area for military campaigns are moved to sadness and shed tears, so soldiers on campaign would be all the more deeply moved to sorrow.
