夢とてもよしや吉田の里ならむさめてうつゝもうき旅の道《割書：白》【「白」朱字】

みやこをは思へば遠しおなし名のよし田につきしつゑもたゞれて
●按ニ拾遺集、神楽歌、〽名にたてる吉田の里の杖なればつくとも
つきじ君が万代とあり、●勝地吐懐篇云、此歌は天禄元年大嘗會
風俗￣ノ歌にて、近江￣ノ国吉田也、●同首書云、此外吉田￣ノ里とも村ともいへる歌、
皆近江なり、山城の吉田に村里をよめるはいまだ見ず、森とも野とも

●按ずるに『拾遺集』、神楽歌に「名に立てる吉田の里の杖なれば、つくともつきじ君が万代」とある。●『勝地吐懐篇』によると、この歌は天禄元年大嘗会の風俗歌で、近江国の吉田である。●同じ書物によると、この他に吉田の里とも村とも詠んだ歌は、皆近江である。山城の吉田に村里を詠んだものはまだ見ない。森とも野とも、すべて神社のことを詠んだものは山城である。

●Upon examination, in the "Shūi-shū" kagura songs, there is "Since it is a staff of Yoshida village famous in name, even if it strikes, it will not wear out for your myriad generations." ●According to "Shōchi Tokai-hen," this song is a folk song from the Daijōsai ceremony of Tenroku 1, referring to Yoshida in Ōmi Province. ●The same book states that all other songs referring to Yoshida village or hamlet are about Ōmi. None have been found that compose about villages in Yoshida of Yamashiro. All that compose about forests or fields—everything concerning shrines—refer to Yamashiro.
