通りて、渡（ワタリ）村にて矢はぎ川をこし、桑子（クハコ）《割書：一向宗ノ柳堂トイヘルハ｜桑子ノ明眼寺ノコト也》より安祥の北
上‾条を過て、安‾祥_原へ出、それより笹目重原（サヽメシゲハラ）を経て、知立へ出し也、かゝ
ればよさみの原は今の安‾城_原にて、サヽメはヨサミを訛（ヨコナマ）れるなるべし、
また桑_子より上‾条へゆく田の中の道いと広き道にて、今／呼（ヨビ）て大（オホ）
道（ミチ）といふ、これ往古の街道なるべし、其近村新堀に古き地蔵有りて、
地蔵祭といへる祭あり、これ古の官道の道祖神《割書：タムケ｜ノ神》なるを、後に地
蔵となしたるなるべしといへり

四極山（シハツヤマ）、打越見者（ウチコエミレバ）、笠縫之（カサヌヒノ）、島榜隠（シマコギカクル）、棚無小船（タナナシヲブネ）、

しまこぎかくるたなゝし小船とあり、
●契冲の古今集餘材抄云、万葉の此歌の前に年魚（アユチ）市がたをよめり
尾張也、此歌の次に枚（ヒラ）の湖、高島の勝野が原をよめり、共に近江也、終に山（ヤマ）
背（シロ）の高槻￣ノ村とよめり、然ればあづまより都へ帰り上り来る道にてよめる
次第也、和名鈔を考見るに、参河￣ノ国幡豆￣ノ郡／磯泊（シハト）《割書：之波｜止》あり、此磯泊￣ノ郷に

通りて、渡村にて矢作川を越し、桑子（一向宗の柳堂と言うのは桑子の明眼寺のことである）より安祥の北上条を過ぎて、安祥原へ出て、それより笹目重原を経て、知立へ出たのである。こうであれば、よさみの原は今の安城原で、ササメはヨサミが訛ったものであろう。また桑子より上条へ行く田の中の道はとても広い道で、今も大道と呼んでいる。これは往古の街道であろう。その近村新堀に古い地蔵があって、地蔵祭という祭りがある。これは古の官道の道祖神であったのを、後に地蔵としたものであろうと言っている。

●この歌は『古今集』には、大歌所御歌として「しはつ山 打ち出でて見れば 笠結いの 島漕ぎ隠る 棚なし小船」とある。
●契沖の『古今集余材抄』によると、『万葉集』のこの歌の前に年魚市潟を詠んでいる。尾張である。この歌の次に枚の湖、高島の勝野が原を詠んでいる。共に近江である。終に山背の高槻村と詠んでいる。そうであれば東国より都へ帰り上る道で詠んだ順序である。『和名抄』を考え見ると、三河国幡豆郡に磯泊（しはと）があり、この磯泊郷に

●According to Keichū's "Kokin-shū Yozai-shō," before this poem in the Man'yōshū, Ayuchi-ichigata is sung about. This is Owari. After this poem, Lake Hira and Katsuno-ga-hara of Takashima are sung about. Both are in Ōmi. Finally, Takatsuki Village in Yamashiro is sung about. If so, this is the sequence of poems composed on the road returning from the eastern provinces to the capital.
