現代語訳
とも思うけれども、いずれも富士を見始めたという趣旨を詠まれているので、遠江国内のことでもあるだろう。これもよく考察すべきである。
三河国の名所の歌をも集め記したものは数多くあるけれども、紫が生える武蔵野のように広く行き届かず、青柳の糸のように美しくても漏れているものや誤っているものがあるのを不満に思っていた。そうしたところ、新年の頃、私と親しい語らい相手で、同じ学問の道を歩む兄弟のような羽田野敬雄が、そのことを気にかけて心配し、明け暮れ
