赤坂（宿泊）
【本文】
新居にて五を振り、白須賀、二川、吉田、御油、赤坂と泊まりなさいと女が無理に引き込む所。殿様にはつぼという場所。気持ちの良い者は早く振り放題。力の強い奴は百ましの御家中の残らず、芝居の色男のように打たれたようになって泊まる。赤坂では馬鹿野郎は引っ張りに二百野郎と、五員通の銭を使う。

手前はほんの四十女の着物やぶりだ。
殿さんなら思い入れ引きはしない。
申し上げます。着物やぶられました者五百人。足をすりむき、あるいは引きかかられました者三百人。後は追い追い申し上げましょう。

赤坂にて六を振り、藤川、岡崎、知立、鳴海、宮、桑名に当たり、焼き蛤、栗の名物。焼く人も一人、食う人も一人という所。他の者は食いたくても決して食う事ならず。食っての番に当たった折介が一人、仕合わせにて蛤栗の食い飽き。家中の残らず蛤栗に飢えて、のどをごくごくさせ、見ている事こそ哀れなり。

汁も吸わぬ者もあり、さかのせきと食いたいかして、せつない地口を言う。
「なんと内証で一つ食わせる気はないか。」

Akasaka (Lodging)
【Main Text】
Rolling a five at Arai, passing through Shirasuka, Futagawa, Yoshida, Goyu, to Akasaka where women forcibly pull customers in to stay. For the lord, this is a pleasure spot. Those feeling good can roll to their heart's content. Strong fellows, all hundred or so of the lord's retainers, become entranced like stage actors and stay the night. In Akasaka, fools spend two hundred coins and five-mon currency on being pulled in.

If it's the lord, he won't be emotionally moved.
I report: Five hundred people had their clothes torn. Three hundred people scraped their feet or were pulled at. The rest I shall report in due course.

Rolling a six at Akasaka, hitting Fujikawa, Okazaki, Chiryu, Narumi, Miya, and Kuwana - specialties of grilled clams and chestnuts. There's one person grilling and one person eating. Others, even if they want to eat, absolutely cannot eat. One fellow named Orisuke, who got his turn to eat, is fortunate to have eaten his fill of clams and chestnuts. All the remaining retainers hunger for clams and chestnuts, gulping with their throats, and it's truly pitiful to watch.
