日本橋 振り出し
【本文】
道中すごろくがよく効いた○引き風に俵屋を用いたことのようなものも道理。振り出しが日本橋とは厳しいものだ。その代わり、こんなに立派なお殿様には滅多なものは見せられず、万事すごろくの通り寸分違わぬように、との御意にて、日本橋が振り出しだから、あれから賽を投げながら行こうと、雲助のような御冗談もある。
その時殿様がおっしゃるには「東西東西、高輪は御座れども、これより放り投げます○縁○計らいしなく唱え事をして、賽をお投げ付けなさるぞ」不思議なる。この時我を忘れて勝負と声をかけた者二三人、御目通りを仕損じる。

Nihonbashi - Starting Point
【Main Text】
The travel sugoroku worked well, and like using Tawaraya with a favorable wind, it makes sense. Having Nihonbashi as the starting point is quite strict. In return, for such a distinguished lord, nothing ordinary can be shown, and by his lordship's will that everything should follow the sugoroku exactly without the slightest deviation, since Nihonbashi is the starting point, there are even jokes like a porter's saying "let's throw the dice as we go from there."
At that time, his lordship proclaimed: "Attention, attention! Though Takanawa is present, from here I shall throw [the dice]... without ○ calculation, making incantations and throwing the dice." How strange! At this moment, forgetting themselves and shouting about the game, two or three people spoiled their audience with the lord.
