【本文】
品川での立ち竦みに懲りて、そうそう賽を投げなさると、五を振りなさったので、品川、川崎、神奈川、保土ヶ谷、戸塚と、泊まりという本当の泊まり場へ振り当てた。すごろくを見れば、据え風呂に人が入っていて、女がそばに立っている絵がある。この通りを申し付けるとのこと。家来の中でずいぶん長湯の好きな、のぼせても平気な奴を、検分が済むまで湯に入れ、女を付けておく。

【本文】
戸塚にて三を振ったので、藤沢、大磯に当たり、すごろくは虎石を持っている奴と煙草を吸んでいる奴を描いている。またこの通りにせよとの言い付け。石を持つ中間三十人と見ている足軽二十人が、交代で番に勤める役人が検分に来て、無駄ばかり言う。

(Lodging) Totsuka
【Main Text】
Having learned his lesson from standing upright at Shinagawa, he quickly threw the dice and rolled a five, so from Shinagawa through Kawasaki, Kanagawa, and Hodogaya to Totsuka - he landed on a true lodging place marked "lodging." Looking at the sugoroku board, there is a picture of a person in a stationary bath with a woman standing nearby. He orders this to be carried out exactly as shown. Among his retainers, he selects one who particularly enjoys long baths and doesn't mind getting overheated, has him enter the bath until the inspection is complete, and assigns a woman to attend him.

【Main Text】
Having rolled a three at Totsuka, he landed on Fujisawa and Oiso. The sugoroku depicts a man holding a tiger stone and another smoking tobacco. Again he orders this to be carried out exactly as shown. Thirty servants holding stones and twenty foot soldiers watching them take turns serving as officials who come to inspect, speaking nothing but nonsense.
